they're really not that expensive, probably like $35 or so

it's unfortunate that old nintendo games are never as cheap as other old games though. well, modern nintendo ones also never go down, it seems.

seriously, i wanted to add another cartridge to my stagnant n64 collection but at that price i'm not sure if it's worth it

thankfully the only n64 carts i still ~need~ are quite cheap

and there's only a couple. the console simply doesn't have a very large library.
