i finished yume nikki last night and saw pretty much everything in the game save for a few random occurrences that never happened for me

yeah, i dunno what to say. it was an experience. a weird one. essentially exploring someone else's subconscious (madotsuki's) and seeing everything that probably reflects what happened to her or what sort of condition she is. a lot of the fan theories i don't buy into, but it's pretty clear one way or another that she's at least terribly depressed and has experienced a lot of loss and is very withdrawn from everyone by the time the game begins. it's a pretty sad game, in that way.
