Yeah I've had mine since Christmas '07 and ran it for hours a day pretty much everyday for two or three years straight before I started tapering off and it still works fine and I never had a problem with it. Though it's an Elite.

I gave my friend my original DS when the lite came out. It still works to this day.
My friend's 360 from day one still works perfectly.
My friend's PS3 from day one still works perfectly.
My Wii from launch day still works perfectly.

What on earth do you people do to your consoles?
