yeah, I didn't even try to get the ice arrows because they're not that helpful.

there is no added difficulty in enemies/bosses in Master Quest

it's just that the rooms and puzzles are rearranged a bit

i've never actually played the original master quest, but in the 3ds version, all enemies do double damage and the game is in mirror mode giggle;

also they put some stronger enemies in areas where they previously aren't, but it doesn't make much of a difference.
