My friend who doesnt have halo 3 and hasnt even played it say it only is 4 people co-op, but my friend who has it and has played co-op says 16 players. Who is right?

Why the hell would there be 16-player co-op? Maybe you confused it with the maximum amount of people for online games? psyduck;

Yeah, on the co-op screen it says max 16 but I understand that it's different  caterpie;
