They didn't break, the laser could read them if the PS1 was placed upside down. And the PS1 has many great games, but defiantly not a multilayer console, much like the PS2 as well.

My only highlight other than Castlevania SOTN on the PS1 would be MGS. But that was remade on the Gamecube, and that version was better.  caterpie;

THE NES HARDWARE WAS FLAWLESS BECAUSE YOU COULD SOAK THE SYSTEM IN ALCOHOL FOR AN HOUR AND DRY IS CLEAN WITH A JET ENGINE AND SUPER MARIO BROS 3 WORK.
