If I went to CA it would probably be San Diego. Although I would probably be just as likely to move to Florida since the beaches are nicer/water is nicer. Better disney too. Too bad about the residents tho

I mean I could understand San Francisco since it's actually a compact city, Sam Diego's sprawl is almost as bad as LA's

wholly unimpressed by San Francisco. The homelessness was crazy rampant and aggressive. It's too cold to bother with, I may as well just live in Madison or Chicago or Seattle. And of course the prices of everything, especially real estate, are just nuts

Eh, getting around in San Diego was much easier than LA. Way less stressful. Easier parking. Less gridlock.

LA seems better to visit rather than live in. Maybe Santa Barbara would be cool tho idk.

Idk it's bad but SD median home price is 477k while SF is 750k

Cost of living in general is also 38% higher than SD

Also the homelessness and it's colder

it's not cold cold but if I'm moving to CA it's not gonna be to live in some damp foggy city. If I want to be chilly I can just live anywhere. I want a damn beach with water that isnt 50 degrees at its warmest. And yes I know SD water is still cold but it's manageable

Yea I guess SD could probably begin to feel a bit small after a bit. But it's beautiful at least. I may have weird opinions about cities because I really liked Phoenix lol. The sprawl there is getting pretty stupidly massive though and it's gonna be in a lot of trouble when the Colorado dries up

Honestly the biggest detractors about Phoenix are the weather and the lack of a distinct personality. Otherwise, it's fine.
