ive always wanted to try couchsurfing it seems rad but also im a little anxious to do it

i had an old roommate who was into it and we had a few people stay at our house

one time we had two german girls stay w/ us and another time one french girl (we had a female roommate who was opposed to us having male couchsurfers for whatever stupid reason). the german girls were cool and i have good drunken memories having a bonfire w/ them and other friends. the french girl was nice but she kind of imposed on us a couple days more than we originally agreed to and it was kind of a relief when she left.

one night it was just me and her awake after everyone else left and we were talking about how sex should be fine and how there should be no stigma for people to just have sex since everyone wants to and then there was a long awkward silence and i abruptly went to bed lol

never tried it from a not hosting perspective but people who have talk very highly of it. the kind of people who are willing to house random people end up being nice people i guess. id like to do it but i havent had much of a reason to especially in thailand where hotels and hostels are like 10 dollars a night lol

id never get an uber for myself but i love it when someone else does, its really magical

i wouldn't do it myself because i don't have any more memory for an uber app lol
also i can't find any airbnb rooms for 8 days so ill have to eat take out from now on and its starting to get a bit pricey

i like to cook because im anal on texture and also its 14.99$/1 lb for some restaurants fried brussel sprouts

i am actually not that put off by thai taxi drivers although ive had some fucking weird ones
the worst is when they dont stfu and keep talking at you in thai and you've already been like "mai kau jai" 100 times and they dont give a fuck

I look at the driver's rating but I hate how the app autoselects the driver lol
but I've had no problems except one guy didn't turn at the right house but luckily that was a free ride
I like it better than a cab tbh because the cab fare is too much except when uber does that surge pricing nonsense
