I would not have fucked around for three years. I would have majored in Justice, done ROTC, and entered  Law and Politics. Like I intended too, before other's influence. But it's alright. I'm an extraordinary individual. So it takes a lot do diminish this gentleman. Things will work out in time.

You are one lucky man.

it's not luck it's really easy you just do what you actually feel will be most constructive for you and not give in to external ideas of what's 'right' for you

I feel like I do that, but then I hit a major milestone in my life and my priorities change.  Then I look back and get a little sad.  I was passionate about it then, but not now.

nothing wrong with that, anyone who has specific priorities that are constant throughout their life is a fool. constant re-evaluation is good.

All I would have done is maybe taken a few more psychology courses and lived in a real dorm rather than a private one full of New York Jews

i would never have wasted any money on college "education" to begin with
I'm sorry it didn't work for you, but there is plenty to gain if you go to the right school

and there's even more to be gained if you are an auto-didact.  not letting an institution tell you what/how to learn

it's my first semester and i'm studying history at a school i'm satisfied with

but this semester i thought i'd look into the classical world and study roman civlization

Just read Gibbon for Romans, it's the best volume outside primary sources ever written for that Civilization.

I've been meaning to read that, actually.

Now, to be fair, I'm learning some cool shit... I suppose I'm just a little disenchanted with Rome now, as if they've lost their mystique. But I did thoroughly enjoyed reading Livy and Plutarch, especially Livy's dramatic portrayal of possibly banal events.

I would drink more games but most contain choking hazards saddood;

I didn't exactly say anything controversial yknow, live and let live and all that noise. No need to hate on others' life choices

So far I haven't really run into any huge regrets. Although I'm living kind of far from campus this year, which isn't bad because I can ride my bike wherever, but once the weather gets worse I'll probably have much different feelings about it.

Socks

If that's your biggest possible regret and pressing issue in life. Riding your bike to school. You don't even know what a life is. You should have major regrets.

I thought that this thread pertained to only college. I've definitely had my fair share of regrets in life, but nothing of large significance in college. I've been having the best time of my life so far.
