What timezone are you in? If eastern, you have plenty of time to return from Astronomy Lab.

the synopsis of the class on the school website doesn't really tell what the lab is either.

Astronomy I is an introduction to the history and concepts of modern astronomy. The course covers historical backgrounds, celestial motions, properties and observations of light, and physical characteristics of the solar system.
