I used to watch their movies. saddood;

So, I saw the last 30 mins. of Sex Drive like Monday night.
It sucked.

Maybe, if I watched it from the beginning it would be better.
Watched some Cadillac Records today, but didn't finish it.
It was pretty good.

And saw Whip It in the theaters umm, Friday night, I think.
Good movie (:
I want to be like Sarah too!

So glad you guys like it...someone in my family actually does roller derby, she's awesome. giggle;

Watched Amelie for the third time, taking notes for class. God I love this film!

Where the wild things are :D
Also The Informant last week

Boogus Epirus Aurelius

Slow day, so we decided to kill it with some movies.

I loved KIDS and Gummo, so I decided to give Korine another shot with Mr. Lonely.

It was good. Not as good as I wanted it to be. Felt gimmicky at times and had a different vibe then the other two.
I still recommend seeing it.

Samus Aran

I'm very hesitant to see movies like KIDS and Gummo, because I saw Ken Park and hated it, and they're all basically the same type of modern exploitation/shock films, it seems.

I disagree. Gummo had no plot or direction, but was ridiculously engaging because of how convincing it felt.
Not a perfect movie or a real enjoyable watch, but you get the feeling that you're strolling through Xenia and stumbling on a handful of its residents. I wouldn't call it exploitation.

Trailer Park Boys 2- Pretty funny. It was basically just a long ass episode. I think the first movie was much better. That's all.

LAST NIGHT I went and saw Stepfather AND Law Abiding Citizen.

THEY WERE BOTH FRICKEN SWEET.
Except the ending on Stepfather sucked a little bit but I generally enjoyed the whole thing.
LAW ABIDING CITIZEN was freakin sick. I enjoyed every damn minute of it. I was soo surprised by everything. I highly suggest this movie to everyone. Like god Gerard Butler is soo fuckin hot.

Wrench

Transformers 2

They tried WAY too hard on this. The original is better.

Dark City like 10 years late though.

Where the Wild Things are - So awesome, so weird, the child's imagination was captured damn well.

Robocop - It wasn't too much like Terminator (which was 3 years earlier.) It's like Terminator but not as unstoppable but way more brutal. The special effects are way better in Robocop and much more awesome looking. More blood, not as good story, not sure which is more cheesy. Watching the 2nd one tonight.
