are you opposed to glass side panels? you don't seem to like rgb but you also don't want a black monolith, but don't like the meshify so I dunno what else there is  akudood;
cooler master seems to have a lot of good options actually, maybe the silencio s600 or the n400?

oh no of course not lol, even my current case has a glass side panel

that's basically the standard these days, which i don't mind at all

I do still want glass. I don't particularly want a black monolith, unless it's really ęsthetic. goodjob;

And while my current PC is unlit, I'm actually not at all opposed to a bit of tasteful, easily disabled RGB. :3

Quote from: Hiro on March 20, 2021, 05:02:37 PMalso you might want to consider something like this if you need a lot of ports and whatnot https://www.amazon.com/TSUPY-Extended-Compatible-Laptops-Tablets/dp/B07V6VWWKL/ref=sr_1_3

i actually do own a usb hub already

i have it clamped under my desk drawer lol

And it's still not enough. 5thgrade;

I just prepared it for shipping. You'll be pleased to know I deliberately packed it into an inappropriately sized Amazon box. ifeelbetter;

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07DRVHBWK

...How does this make you feel? y/n

i feel like it's a little ugly judging by those amazon pics but i also feel like it might be less ugly in person, idk

HELP

also if you know of any others roughly akin to those examples plz feel free to share happydood;

Thyme

i made a disgusted face irl when i saw the third one

the rosewill is my favorite

Thyme

why is it missing the side panels

i guess it could be nice used as a table sillydood;

Hiro

I like the thermaltake one, they have a version with curved glass that goes around the front too
the rosewill one looks the best out of those three but i also have never heard anything good about rosewill ever
I have heard great things about the fractal meshify on the other hand, great thermals and whatnot

i was concerned about this as well but having reviewed some reviews, it looks like partly exposed components aren't as much of a liability as i expected they would be befuddlement

it's arguably easier to keep clean because, well, there's no enclosed space for dust to get trapped lol

it would be nice to not have to disassemble my pc just to dust it out every now and again (jesus christ you should see what my current one looks like lol)

a legitimate use according to the reviews sillydood;

and also extremely common which as a hipster displeases me somewhat

same awdood;

to make matters worse, i just discovered that same case on ebay on sale for just $50....... awdood;

I feel like I see thermaltake, lian li, and nxzt in every generic fancy setup anyway, and cooler master and corsair are p. common as well. I'd just get the case you like the best regardless of popularity.
Also I think the crumple is a nice subtle decoration that doesn't look like edgy gamer shit that so many cases have

Quote from: Magyarorszag on March 22, 2021, 07:53:20 PMwhat where :O
https://www.thermaltakeusa.com/core-p3-tempered-glass-curved-edition.html
but yeah my understanding is these cases are generally best for liquid cooling setups as they can't create much of an air current for cooling

imagine screwing up so badly as a retailer that even EBAY begins to look like a reasonable option

that's how i ended up getting my board lol

Brand new, unopened, performs well beyond my expectations, for $10 less than I paid for the single helpless piece of plastic Newegg tried and failed to scam me into buying. Thanks random eBay stranger! wrench;

Kalahari Inkantation

and as for the progress update... the cpu cooler turned out to be too large for the case

I can't fully close the side panel with it installed. smithicide;

And the search for a suitable alternative has complicated the assembly process dramatically. This was supposed to be a one-day, maybe one-weekend project.

I had gathered all planned components by late March and expected to be done three Saturdays ago.

And to this day, I'm still not finished.
