im getting engaged lol
will I move out of the city and into the burbs
what age would you ideally get married
would you have a private wedding
what comes once the infatuation fades

how do I know I'm not settling
we laugh and we click and we have a lot of fun and I'm vulnerable but I'm not sure 😢

C.Mongler

how long have you known this person lol  sillydood; lubdoods;

good luck on your future endeavors be sure to get a wedding DJ with at least 5 DPH (despacitos per hour)

YPrrrr

Do you live with them already

Because living with someone changes everything

YPR has that right. I guess after some time you learn what lines not to cross to keep the peace. It's nice to know what those are and if you can manage that before you get married. I wish you happiness and a long lasting relationship.   :3

I'm backing up the living together thing.

It is absolutely different if you've never lived with a person. You need to know if you can spend an  extended amount of time with this person without hating them/resenting them/killing them in their own natural habitat.

I've been with Maddy 7 years, and we've lived together 6 years 7 months or so. I never get sick of her. She never gets sick of me. We always want to be around/with each other. But we're also understanding when we each want alone time.
I fully plan on popping the question. I'm saving up for a ring.   Q('_' Q)

since 2006
even jmv remembers him

I've lived with him for a month and still am
the scary part is that it actually works

I usually need heavy alone time but i don't mind if he's there

we fight spontaneously though but they always get quickly resolved

what I don't like is that his eating patterns are too unhealthy and sooner or later I might start to encourage him to be healthier
I dont know how that's any different from nagging :,(

It seems pretty srs
that this could be a long term, real, monogamous, healthy thing sealed with a ring (which he researches extensively about)

I'm just concerned about financial matters cos I like living as a careless 20something and wanted to default myself to marrying some banker or lawyer like my friends did so they'd get supported

but my husbando has a deadend job so one of us has to take this whole careerism seriously lol

I guess marriage will be The Thing that pushes my last shred of adolescence into adulthood cos I'd be responsible for someone else..like this comment if cried

Sounds like you two are ready to get married. Money helps but if you don't get along that's worse. I cried when I read that. I never thought of Clucky as grown up.

Of course it's life changing. It's over at that point.
