Fun fact: voting third party had no bearing on clinton losing and this is just a cop out by neoliberals
Closest 5 States that Trump Won
Wisconsin: 45.65% HRC, 47.22% DJT, 1.04% Stein, (3.58% Johnson) - HRC + Stein = 46.69% < 47.22% Trump : NC
Michigan: 47.27% HRC, 47.50% DJT, 1.07% Stein, (3.59% Johnson) - HRC + Stein = 48.34% > 47.50% Trump: ÂÃ,±16EV
Pennsylvania: 47.46% HRC, 48.18% DJT, 0.81% Stein, (2.38% Johnson) - HRC + Stein = 48.53% > 48.18% Trump: ÂÃ,±20EV
Arizona: 45.13% HRC, 48.67% DJT, 1.33% Stein, (4.13% Johnson) - HRC + Stein = 46.46% < 48.67% Trump: NC
Florida: 47.82% HRC, 49.02% DJT, 0.68% Stein, (2.20% Johnson) - HRC + Stein = 48.50% < 49.02% Trump: NC
So if liberals are correct and Jill stein is why hillary lost these states (because 100% of stein voters would vote otherwise, and vote for hillary), then hillary'd have an additional 36 electoral votes, and trump'd have 36 fewer.
Trump's new total: 304-36 = 268 EV
HRC's new total: 227+36 = 263 EV. Let's even give her that 1 random EV that someone gave to sanders (while not giving trump the 3 that went to colin powell). 264 EV.
Neither would have 270 so idk how that'd play out but Hillary would still have fewer electoral votes even if Jill Stein never ran. This also has liberals ignoring the fact that she won several states by a smaller margin than Gary Johnson garnered. In fact, with this logic, GJ+DJT had more votes than HRC+JS.
Even if Jill Stein didn't exist but all of the other conservatives in the race still ran, Hillary would still have lost the election based on how the electoral college works.
Don't let liberals try to convince you out of voting third party because they run shitty campaigns.
tbf jill stein is still shit, hillary vacuum or not (https://i.imgur.com/laCNJJk.png)

I actually agree with you.
Aggressive pursuit of GDP growth through state management of the economy (the US largely does this through the Federal Reserve) at the expense of the country's domestic workers, even in cases where foreign countries are the exploiters.
China's economy is the dream of what neoliberals want. Their authoritarian government is something else tho

yeah i wasn't kidding lol, but china's implementation of neoliberal policy is what i would call unclean or impure, which is why neoliberalism-with-chinese-characteristics can be and is at times highly destructive

also thank you for concurring because you've actually lent credence to the argument i'm in the process of making in this thread:

girl;
in just about one generation, china rose from the very depths of poverty to become the second largest economy and second most powerful nation in the world, and it got there
precisely through adopting neoliberal policy beginning in the deng xiaoping - jiang zemin era (no thanks to criminally incompetent mao of course, as i'm sure you'd also agree goodjob;)
and that's despite china's rather
dirty implementation of neoliberalism
you could even argue that a little bit of 'dirtiness' helps to accelerate poverty alleviation in the least developed states in the short term, but in the long run that is both undesirable and unsustainable and ideally you'd get progressive reforms once development hits a certain threshold a la the progressive movements that took place in the usa around the roaring 20s

The rise in China's GDP/capita predates the Deng era reforms and the later liberalization of China's economy. The diminishing poverty began with its at least "semi socialist" command economy and modernization/industrialization under Mao. It's just that they continued afterwards.
i also addressed this in several posts in that thread lmao
oh don't worry i plan to address your replies in that thread as well jackodood;
plz be sure to address my issue with structuring it with "extreme poverty" vs income inequality.
Because keeping people poor, but not so poor that they can't afford goods to keep the capitalists in power isn't a plus
