Xbox 2 and PS5 will not have cd trays
video games stop existing
idk how long consoles have to live
handhelds will be around for a lot longer
handhelds are in much greater danger form smartphones than consoles are from pcs
everybody will still bitch about anything and everything
nobody will look for the good in any game, it will still be about why a game sucks, and not vice versa
More HDier

is that the pony you'd bet on for first successful VR/AR
hard to say...
now with so many tvs being "smart" tvs, and so many products supporting streaming abilities, i really hope we see pc games being easily streamed on tvs (or played on tvs?). it is so redundant to have consoles when pcs do the exact same things but the industry seems to like them so i don't see them going anywhere for a while
it is also hard to say w/ handhelds. i can see a couple more generations of nintendo handhelds at least, but in the long term i think that mobile gaming and handheld gaming will merge, which doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing (nintendo games using mobile networks instead of using horrible nintendo online services pls pls)
the future will be real gay
also if something like the oculus rift comes out and retails for $50-$100 and doesn't look so damn nerdy i can see more virtual reality stuff catching on

yeah but only if there are people willing to dev software titles for it. hopefully it doesn't feel like a gimmick like the wii
all games are gimmicks

is this a prediction or a current opinion
I've been impressed with the Wii U's gamepad and I see next gen going in that direction. Where you don't need a tv anymore, and everyone has a tablet piece of shit.

but then local multiplayer will be expensive and not worth it
