Title: Where is a good place to buy non-contract phones
Post by: strongbad on May 13, 2010, 09:30:12 PM
I probably broke my phone today and I would like to finally buy a nice one, but I'm not trying to start a new plan and I'm pretty sure the prices that t-mobile lists w/o all the discounts is a bunch of bull shit.

well i'm not looking for a smart phone by any means, since i don't want to pay for a data plan right now, but something with a keyboard would be nice

and a half decent OS where you see your sent and received texts in the same list, like it's an IM, instead of having an inbox and outbox. Like the iPhone

The Blackberry Pear Flip which was originally known as the KickStart, yes. And they're supposedly going to be making this monstrosity (http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/10/blackberry-9670-caught-trying-to-justify-its-existence-on-video/).  Though, the slider (http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/14/blackberry-bold-9800-slider-coming-next-month-as-an-atandt-exclusi/) one doesn't look too bad

Ah yes that should help a lot. From what I've read, an OS reinstall fixes it 90% of the time, otherwise you need to get your hardware serviced.
Thank you me86 <3

well he had a really nice dodge stratus (certainly better than my '95 legacy) but he had overalls on and was wearing a lot of camo. he seemed like a nice guy but now i am angry at him for selling me a broken phone :(

EDIT: Somebody who is familiar with blackberrys should get on msn or aim or something and help me out since i am the biggest noob at this shit.
