Based on collected data on lifespans of transsexuals...actually, I've been looking for the number, and I've been getting more liberal estimates like 70. However, suicide rate among transgender /transsexuals, especially untreated, is around 53%, the murder rate is 17 times the national average (the highest for any minority demographic...another study says that 1 of every 12 transsexuals is murdered, compared to 1 in 18000...this number seems off, but it's a demonstrating factor), around 2/3 suffer domestic abuse, and all of them generally have a shitty time of it, especially mtfs.

Those statistics are depressing. It's such a shame that it can be such a hard thing to be trans, with fears like that. It's really sad, because they're only doing what makes them feel right with themselves.

Data is hard to get, but since a good deal of people are concentrated in those places, I'd imagine it's about the same. Hate exists everywhere.
