Okay, first off I was playing Majora's Mask and something suddenly struck me for some reason. And that is "Anju" HOW DO YOU SAY THAT? I have always said an-jew, and that's the only way I've ever heard it said, but is it ahn-jew? and couldn't it also be "an-you"?
OMG WHAT IS IT SUPPOSED TO BE?!
and then there's deku, which I used to say "deckoo" for, but now say "deekoo". My friend says "dookie" which always makes me crack up.
and don't even get me started on pokemon.
Oh, and my mom always yells at me for saying "basic" and "basically" with more of a "z" than an "s".

isn't it fell-ashio? i actually tried to say it to my friend a few weeks ago and we decided that was how to say it, but then we couldn't figure out how to say cunnin... uh... that other long word.
and yet another one of clucky's posts is inexplicably deleted. Good thing I'm so quick. hocuspocus;
my friends always tell me I pronounce "vague" and "plague" without a hard enough "a" but I can't tell

YES
I think I say "thee" when it's before a word that begings with a vowel. Like a/an.
ex:
I went to 'thuh' school.
I ate 'thee' apple.
it's all preference though, I think. I don't think there's any correct way.
