Title: yay, more problems
Post by: ncba93ivyase on January 26, 2009, 01:14:21 PM
My senior year started as the best year of my life, and upon returning from winter break, it's turned into one of my worst.

Right now, my father is in Iraq and messing around with some woman that's only about 2 years older than I am. He's whining and telling my mother that she never cared about him and a bunch of other bullshit, and saying she better not tell me about what's going on--he's essentially saying I'm not a part of the family. He's refused to talk to me in almost a week so I haven't had a chance to really ask what the hell he's doing, but it really could screw up my future. I don't give a damn about him, but I am concerned about my mother's well-being. Honestly, if he cuts it off she'll be alone and I'd feel bad to just abandon her to go to college or something.

what should i do :'(

I've been doing that.

but whenever i do get a chance to talk to my father, if ever, i don't know exactly what to do. I could just slap him with questions and interrogate him, or I could disown him. The latter could have a more profound emotional impact, but could also backfire and have him drop all support of us...

I don't really know what you can do but hope he gets his head on straight... My dad developed a hate for the Iraqis when he was over there, so I don't know what to tell you about him loving one.

He "loves" a female soldier in Iraq.

Let your mom know that you're there for her and, if you do leave for school, call and visit every chance you get. This way she knows that there's at least one person who appreciates her.

but where would she live

She's kind of... incapable of working. I'm being honest when I say her IQ is only about half of mine.

How did your dad happen to meet a female soldier in Iraq?  Is she American?  And He can't just walk away without helping you out. Maybe if he leaves your Mum can get disability or something.   :(

I could probably get into any college if money wasn't a problem.

My friend Jen served in Iraq. She says it was a nasty place to be.   saddood;  maybe the woman lost her mind and is looking for some fun.
