i read it as large hadron collision

$9,000,000 science experiment. particle accelerator complex. potential for creating dark matter (aka end of the world)

I don't really know why so many people think it's the end of the world. We just plain don't know what will happen. For all we know it could be a complete failure.

well, it's a possibility for the end of the world.

i know it's probably not going to happen but it COULD.

Yeah. Basically a gap in the standard particle model.

Like Steal and Thief, I also saw "hardon". caterpie;
ANYWAY I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM TO START IT UP IT'S SO EXCITING

i can wait, the whole idea seems really scary

i really dont want my fucking earth to be swallowed up by some black holes before i even hit 20  :(

but if it does work then yey for free energy...but havent they already started it up?

No, it's 4.65 billion. And in the event it does create a black hole, it'll be the size of an atom and will disappear. And besides, it's not like it's the first time we've collided atoms.

ugh this whole thing upsets me beyond comprehension

they arent colliding atoms, they're coliding protons

but how do we know that the atom sized holes will just disapate? what if they just swallow shit up and get bigger?

how is no one else concerned with this?

sorry for separating all of my thoughts with lines

While that is the likeliest conclusion in a mini black hole event, that is only a theory, and we don't know because it hasn't been observed yet.

FUCK YEAH. IMMINENT DEATH BECAUSE OF SCIENCE.

But seriously.
I doubt anything will happen.
There's a possibility, but nothing will happen.

you won't feel any pain anyways if a mini black hole occurs
you'll die instantly

You would want your hardon to collide with someone else's, wouldn't you? :|

yeah so I made a reference to the Higgs boson in an essay draft for English and my teacher circled it and question marked it. I don't think he knows what it is but I'm keeping it because it makes sense WACKASS NIGGAS
