My friend's on his 5th different 360. It keeps breaking and or getting the ring of death.  sweat;

Tell him to place it horizontally on a non-carpet like surface. Vertically covers a vent up.

My 360 has nothing wrong with it so far, he used his vertically on carpet, I was going to switch it but forgot you can't move them when cd is inside, I scratched it up a little, but not enough to get a disc read error.

My 360 got the rings of death a few times, and on rare occasions I have to unplug the power wire thingy so the 360 will start up, but lately it's been fine...I hope  gonk;

Ah, I see.

I plan on evnetually investing in an Xbox 360, but first comes first, when I actually get a job like I should have by my age, I'm gonna be paying for our Triple Play bills, and then funding a site.

Wait until Fall, they're remodeling the inside of it to get rid of a few hardware problems.

It's just another new SKU for 100 bucks less than what the Ps3 is, though.

Heard it from somewhere. Contextually, it's said as Model, so I'm using it as such.

The Wii lacks good 3rd party games. The PS3 lacks games. The 360's life rate is pretty shitty, though my 360 never broke down in the past 6 months that I've owned it. I don't know if they fixed the problems in the models from 2006's holiday season.

I meant physical problems, like it wouldn't run or would get an error.

Then the 360 has the most. Disc read errors, over heating, etc. I've only had 2 different problems for my 360. One was a disc read error from a game I borrowed from a friend (though when I actually bought the game it worked) and it froze around 3 times for me. Nothing major.

In terms of it winning for a slight loss, then making up for it with other sales?

PS3- the fucktardsof Sony decided to put a blu-ray player that made it less affordable. If they would have just ignored blu-ray it would be like $350-400.

Wii- All games suck ass. It's too boring.

360- Best console so far, but it still has bugs  kratos;

Yeah, they would have sold more units if they did. And besides, not many people own an HD-TV.

...You're an idiot.

How would they sell more units? They're using the exact same technology from the last gen in terms of the media format, so using something like a Cell processor would be useless. You can't put as much data on the disc, and if they used SD like you're insinuating, such a powerful processor would serve no purpose. Also, the Wii doesn't offer support for HD, and look how shitty that god damn system is; and that's coming from a person that has pretty much worshipped Nintendo since birth.

Just because a lot of people don't have it, it doesn't mean they shouldn't offer support for it. HD will become a standard during this gen, and having HD support will really benefit these consoles in the long run. When everyone does have an HDTV (and most people in America do have one), they'll want goodies and gadgets that support it. Not something that doesn't take advantage of it.

A system shouldn't be released if it offers nothing new. If the PS3 was released with just a DVD drive, it still would've just been a PS2. Why exactly would it sell more if it's the same thing?

I like the Xbox 360 and all, but it needs more variety in the games, not just shooters, racers, shooters, shooters, and other shooters. Needs more platformers and what not, such as Ratchet and Clank.

The PS3 will probably start doing better once more games come out. Hopefully by then most people won't have bought 360s and Wii's and given up on Sony. That's kinda what I did once I saw how awesome Gears of War was  y;

As for the Wii, I'm not too sure what will happen to it. It could go both ways where the large amount of sales continue for a while, or eventually the sales will start to slow down a lot once all the old people/others have all bought their Wii's.

I'm pretty sure they mean their own 360s, though I wouldn't be surprised if what you say is true. My friend's copy of Dead Rising didn't work in my system(Got a Disc read error), but the copy I bought works perfectly.

My question is why it would work fine on one system, and not another, when there's no reason it shouldn't.
