Ever have a song, or cd that makes you think of something specific?
When I first gave Maroon 5's first album a try, and at the time I was playing Megaman Battle Network and whenever I hear a song from their first cd, I think of playing that game.

Listening to Eminem makes me think of M&Ms. For some odd, strange reason.

Listening to Guns N' Roses reminds me of guns and roses for some reason.
The World Has Turned And Left Me Here by Weezer reminds me very, very strongly of when I went to Japan.

trying to listen to Ween reminds me of wandering through a giant forest of needles with only a very few select safe havens that don't make you bleed all over
Soulja Boy reminds me how horrid most of today's music is.
That actually happens with basically all music. When I listen to a specific CD or songs a lot during a period of time, when I listen in the future that song/CD reminds me of that time period. It's great actually.
That's actually one of the things I love most about music. It's like a catalog of memories.
Riders on the Storm of rain but... thats because the intro is rain.

Sort of. What I'm trying to say is that Ween is simultaneously awesome and completely inappropriate, in a good way.

Lightbulb Sun (the song) reminds me of being sick at home from school as a child.
Angel of Death makes me think of punching someone in the face right as the scream comes on.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra of x-mas.
Everytime I hear a Disturbed song, it reminds me of my early months at Nsider. At that point, I was obsessed with Disturbed, and listened to them nearly all the time while I was browsing Nsider.
Let's never speak of that again. baddood;
Porcupine Tree makes me think of driving down the back roads at like 80 MPH on my way to work. :|

As vivid and image laden as all (or nearly all(White pepper.)) of ween's works are, the pod is probably the most stirring and least accessable. I dont know, The entire album reminds me of this old, shitty decrepit house in the woods near my home. It's just a really muddy, murkey, sludgy sweaty record. I love it.
