I don't even use the rotating banners because they just cause unnecessary loading.
100 on each side is great.
Don't go over that, though. I like to have empty space in a forum for some reason...
Do it, but don't go too far.

Then do it to Dix and leave the rest.

Dix doesn't have a banner NOR DOES IT HAVE MY FLASHY BACKGROUND
Um...no, because some of us are using rotating banners here.
We're not all Lawlz.

god forbid a page has one image adding typically less than 50KB of data
which brings up another point: why are you retarded when it comes to file size doodthing;

There's also the possibility a nice solid color is preferred over CHIPZ.

I've already experienced it and it feels nasty.

Sounds good, how do we get rid of them?

Change your theme to DIX.
Or how about DIX just has a width of 100 extra pixels? weewee;

Sure. Any theme that doesn't use rotating banners would work fine with a larger width.

hey aren't you the admin who's in charge of graphics or something doodthing;
Regardless, you were originally only arguing against it based on file size. Never mind the fact that almost every single signature here adds more data to a page than the banner does. Hell, even your signature's file size is larger than some of the banners. goonish

The file size of each banner was once about 250 kilobytes or more. After I reduced their sizes, they're all around 50 or so.
Sigs get cached, but a rotating banner doesn't.
... goonish
