If you were to get a new laptop, what would you look for?
Macbook or Macbook Pro.
If those are too expensive get one of the Dell Ubuntu ones.

If you had a brain, you'd only use that partition for games and use OS X because it's not only more secure but just better.

What if I don't want to switch?
Probably go Macbook Pro.
MacBook because of portability and because MacBook Pro prices are ridiculous.
You can get a 2.4 GHz iMac or for 500 dollars more you can get a rather unportable laptop with a 2.2 GHz Processor and a lesser graphics card

lolwut
Standard Macbooks and underpowered and overpriced. Macbook Pros, while expensive, are quite powerful.

You can't possibly be that weak so that you can't control a Macbook Pro in transit. I have no difficulty bringing it places.

really because performance in the top-end macbook and 2.2 GHz Macbook Pro are identical psyduck;. So it's a heavier macbook with "pro" slapped on it.
All Macbooks, iMacs, and Macbook Pros are underpowered. At least the models that we own.

Hmmmm...?
Why would I want to do that?
I was merely suggesting that you could try out both OS's before seeing which one you like more.
As for the "torrent it" part? I'm sorry that I wouldnt want to pay 100-200 something dollars for XP/OSX Tiger with a makeover.

When did I say that Leopard was XP with a makeover?
I said OS's are makeovers of their predecessors.

I forgot about including new features, adding support for new technologies, fixing old bugs that couldn't be fixed with a simple system update, and plenty of other things.
