what I mean is, wasn't there a Santa a LONG time ago in like when christianity was first being developed or something?
well, if he existed then why do we not believe he existed. He started the trend of gift giving, I think that something to at least celebrate rite? powerofone;
then why do we stop beveling in santa?
why can't we just be like St. Nick=Santa and leave it at that!

Yeah, it was pretty funny. I knew the whole time, but didn't tell.
My parents didn't, either. I learned about Santa by watching some TV show, but didn't think much of it. Later on I just kinda pretended to believe in him because every other kid did, even though I knew he was fake. I actually lied, my parents actually kinda did bring it up when I was much older (maybe 7 or so), but by then it was too late. powerofone;
I tried that approach too, when I was 4 or 5, being skeptical. I put it under the tree. My mom answered. It was obviously her. I was heartbroken. poppy;
He also got a picture with George's signature too

When I saw my fat, bald, Hog riding uncle come to my house to deliver my presents when I was about 4, I knew he wasn't real. I just continued to pretend I still believed it for about 8 more years so my parents wouldn't feel bad.

I never believed in Santa because my mom didn't want me thinking that some fat ass in a red suit bought me all the presents that she actually worked hard for. I was going to do the same with Ella, but I thought it would be cute and funny to make Steven dress as Santa every year, make cookies with Ella for "Santa," and take pictures of him setting out presents, then show her when she's older, and be like, "DUMBASS!"
