That happened to me a few minutes ago. gonk;
I logged out of Ubuntu, and booted into XP and it still didn't work.
Then I booted back into Ubuntu, and realized my internet cable was unhooked.

I doubt it's the same case for you, but yeah.

Boot into linux and open your terminal
applications>accessories> terminal


Issue the following commands
lspci

lspci -n


Save the output of the terminal to somewhere on your windows folders.  Boot back into windows and copypaste everything for me.
