Daddy

Mac Pros can have 16GB of RAM and 4 Harddrives

I want that much ram, but I wouldn't use it. WHAT IS THAT MUCH RAM USED FOR?

We've already discussed that, for photoshop.

NO
Yes? Someone said that some layers on photoshop can be about 3gbs and you usually need more then one layer. Most people won't ever ever need it. Ram will become obsolete in the future, something better will replace it.

It would have to be an enormous image, and would probably have to be a higher color depth.

That amount of memory would be more practical for 3D rendering and whatnot, really.

I'm an idiot because...? Ram will be replaced in the future, I'm sure of it. I don't mean the idea of ram, I mean 1gb ram and up to 16gb ram will be replaced with something of more memory space (more gbs lol). Should have clarified that because I noticed you were online.

As abundantly clear as that was, it wasn't.

How do I edit?
Poorly.

To be fair, the initial quality is lacking, as well.

But seriously, when isn't it lacking? To be honest, I don't know much about computers and should have taken more time to explain what I meant. I just meant that in the future 16gbs of ram won't be a hell of a lot like it is now-a-days.

PHYDEAUX, IT IS POSSIBLE FOR RAM TO BE REPLACED SOME TIME IN THE FUTURE WITH SOME OTHER MUTANT TECHNOLOGY.
