it's pretty damn heavy, and i don't know how you can actually watch it and come away still ardently supporting the man. i feel like most of the THEY'RE LIARS crowd didn't actually watch it.

even if you completely ignore the two men's testimonies, the archival material and the timeline that it corroborates is pretty damning. he spent TONS of alone time with young boys, telling them constantly that he loved them and that they were special, for months on end. he also spoiled them and made them promises of fame and shit and then eventually cut them off for the next young boy. even without the sexual stuff that would have been pretty psychologically traumatizing for most kids (though you could sling some blame at the parents too for that I guess, however they also were clearly blinded by his star power).

i need to actually finish it, but yeah, at the very least the man was super fucking weird and wielded his star power very irresponsibly. i know his supporters are quick to yell that HE HAD A MESSED UP CHILDHOOD, OF COURSE HE'S STRANGE, but you could say that shit of most pederasts. but they dont get a pass because they didnt write thriller soooo
