I'm not sure if my parents will be more pissed that I am going to apply for a credit card without them knowing or that I will be using that credit card to buy a Macbook Pro.

I'll have to get a job.

The card is interest free for the first year so I'd have a year to pay it off without them charging me extra

Don't buy anything if you don't have the money to pay for it first, Any retard knows that

Like they care.  If I leave my room my mom goes "Go back in your room, stop sitting around here"  She constantly questions me when I go out with friends.   All I can do without her bothering me constantly is sit online.

You think that.

Capital One and Chase(Their mastercards) both offer Student Cards to Minors.

Yes, I know that.   No one has 3000 dollars cash to buy a new computer though. Not everyone is rich.

Second rule of a credit card, never pay just the minimum balance, pay as much as possible.  I plan on doing that.   3 or 4 hundred a month. I'd pay it off before the 0% APR expires.

What the fuck are you thinking JOB FIRST.

Check the fine print.

You'll either have a minimum payment and/or you're going to have accumulating interest that'll smack your ass when that year is up when you still don't have it paid off.

How old are you? Minors can't sign for agreements. You'll need a cosigner if you're under 18.

In addition, I doubt you qualify right off the bat for a $3000 credit line.
