we're in a sticky situation now since the words are posted any time the emote is used.

and disabling the emotes would make all such words visible in their raw form lol, which i think would be worse

I can add them as a word filter.

Typing them in caps or pluralizing it makes it not censored.

And I can also go in and eventually do a mass find and replace

at the same, i don't want to run the risk of chilling free speech on boyah lol, and i'm not sure how i feel about retroactively modifying the posts of other users unless we really have just cause for doing so

i think this is a very fair approach, anyone who desires mass search-and-destroy editing of old posts can put in a formal request to have an admin do it

we should make that policy known beyond this thread lol
