Civilization is awesome but in general the AI is usually kind of bad and has to be propped up by advantageous start conditions at higher difficulties.

Also the lategame can get pretty boring.

i find most of my civ lategames are either me completely crushing every other civilization or barely hanging in there and definitely having no chance of victory. there's never been like, a truly competitive civ late game that i've experienced.

FF7 has an awful translation, which makes the story unclear sometimes.

It also led to several bad spinoffs and sequels.

Yeah Ive played hundreds of games and the amount of times it's actually competitive at the end has to be about 10 times or less

trashley is an unbelievably annoying insolent child and i don't see how anybody could disagree with that lol

nonetheless, i don't think i'd actually change her at all, not every character has to be likable for them to be a good character and i don't necessarily have to agree with every personality i come across

she's petulant in a way that ultimately adds more to her character than it subtracts from it, i think, so i suppose it's not really an "issue"

i mean i'll agree that she's "annoying" because of her...somewhat grating voice and because of her complete uselessness compared to Leon's sheer badassery

but like, the actual act of escorting her? frankly i think RE4 handles this VERY well. i've never understood how some people think RE4's status as an "escort game" is a detriment. it ramps up the tension and it's VERY forgiving anyway in this regard, letting you hide her pretty frequently and she doesn't actually take damage when enemies grab her, and you have ages to free her of an enemy's grasp

i also agree with you tec that her petulance adds to her character
