i'm not afraid of having an opinion, but i do have a reasonable fear of wasting finite time and money on djunk

metacritic helps to mitigate that risk

and while the new kirby probably isn't total djunk, it's way overpriced for a game with a score like that, lol

it's not even wasting time that i necessarily fear

it's the opportunity cost of spending time/money on a weaker game that could have been spent on a better one

i'd much rather take that same $60 and spend it on the new god of war if i had to buy something today, lol

i've only played the enhanced ds port of superstar but it's def. one of my favorite ds games lol

it's hard to choose between adventure and superstar for overall favorite kirby, though

but have you played nightmare in dreamland? while adventure is amazing in its own right, its remake NIDL is seriously fantastic

i think kirby games are generally too easy to hold my attention (not intended to be a humblebrag- i just get bored cruising through levels without thinking)

kirby games are generally very easy to beat but almost all of the mainline kirby games offer a very good reason to actually 100% them. typically this is the only way to actually get the "real ending" of the game. i think this is a good system because it's rewarding for both casual and hardcore fans.
