From late last year I was overwhelmed by a confluence of personal and health issues that were greatly compounded by the sudden death of my brother. I'm not sure I could possibly have handled those stresses any more poorly than I did in the months that followed.

i simply didn't have the motivation or energy to interact with the world and ended up completely cocooning myself for a while, which of course didn't actually help at all

it took me a few months to snap out of it, and for my physiological health to finally begin to stabilize, and by that point i realized i hadn't interacted with boyah (or pretty much any other humans, in person or otherwise, aside from medical staff) in over six months

I am so sorry for falling off the face of the earth without even having the basic courtesy to offer so much as a brief explanation as to what was up. I don't admit to it often but I do kind of like you guys and know you deserve more respect than that.

speaking of which, an explanation for my inconsistent activity since like 2016 is well overdue by this point, i'll address that later in another thread[/spoiler]

Thanks for understanding. My wellbeing is finally improving and I don't expect to disappear again, but in any case I will do a better job at communicating in the future.
