Boyah D&D?

So, boys, I've been interested in D&D for years and recently it's only become more prevalent in my life (in that I've been listening to The Adventure Zone, and HarmonQuest season 2 just started). So, naturally, I really want to play this game with people, but I'm certain I couldn't get any of my friends at school to get in on this, so I turn to you guys (lov u). It could be fun to get a group of boyagers together and play online, I think.

Do any of you have any experience? It would be great to have someone with some experience who could GM for us. We could use roll20 ( https://roll20.net/ ) for pretty much everything if we want to make this happen.

Scheduling might be an issue but I think we could make it work if we get at least 4-5 people who are interested.

roll20, from what I can tell, is designed to be newbie-friendly. I know a lot of the basics just from observation but I know I'm missing a lot of the more intricate details.

i've been a part of maybe three campaigns that didn't really pan out but i definitely know how to play and feel comfortable with d&d

that being said i have ~zero~ interest in dm'ing but would love to create a character and would commit weekly

i would probably smoke a lot of weed every time and be a fun contribution (i think?) to a campaign

I can't do anything imagination-based without a visual reference when I'm high. I just can't keep any of it straight.

Cool that you're interested though! Honestly I'd love to DM but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it until I got a feel for how the game goes.

 I've played some pre-made campaigns before I'd be down. I am free past 6:30pm Eastern everyday. Free entitely on weekends.

of course. everyone would have to be down for some sloppy sessions but it would be all good

there are some pretty good resources on the DM subreddit
