I had to show up to jury duty and was among the first people to be questioned.

My parents told me to let them know that both my brothers are police officers cause it might get me out.

It did lol.

I was the only one in that group to be let go.

C.Mongler

i got a questionnaire once but was never summoned

assuming they do voir dire just say that the defendant looks guilty as shit or that you are racist or something if you can and they'll dismiss u lel

yeah i had to do jury duty when we were stationed in guam. they chose people to serve by the drivers license registry since no one was voting lol

it works differently there than in the states, i had to call a number every night for 3 months to see if i had jury duty the next day. then they would choose jurors by selecting names from a bucket. if you weren't selected you still had to report back the next time until you get chosen for a case

once you get chosen for a case, you're done with jury duty

it was fkn gay because they extended me by 6 months til i got selected for a case

ugh

ya dude it was fkn gay as shit

i didn't go to jury selection every day, they would put us all in 3 groups and if your group was chosen to go through jury selection, you had to go to the court house the next day and wait FOREVER until we were called into the courtroom and drew 12 names from a bucket to serve on the actual case

i got selected for a domestic violence/child abuse case, it was interesting but still a waste of my time cuz fuck guam

i also got summoned for jury duty in washington but i haven't lived in WA for over 3 1/2 years so my mom had to call them and tell them that i wasn't even stateside :(

YPrrrr

No wonder you hate it over there n_u

Yeah but it's Guam, they aren't very smart.

Sometimes we'd be sitting in the waiting room for hours only to tell us that the case was postponed or cancelled and to keep calling that number every night

FAMY2

I did local once. Never Federal.
