YOU CANNOT BE AN ATHEIST AND BELIEVE TRAPS ARE GAY NOW. YOU CANNOT T BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION AND THINK TRAPS ARE GAY.
THE SCIENTISTS HAVE WORKED VERY HARD AND STUDIED MANY HORNY BRAINS AND FOUND IT ALL OUT

TLDR:

[gamp = men attracted to trans]

i know this is a shitpost thread but like none of this makes sense? actual human gynandromorphs (GAMs) don't exist?? the closest thing is hermaphrodism, but that's a mutation, not something that occurs naturally like actual gynandromorphism does in insects and such

and "traps" (word i hate btw) aren't even remotely related to this

so not only is that study flawed from the beginning by not even using correct terminology, but also, bad thread op

??????

aren't mutations natural
I always assumed guys into traps weren't gay
I should've transitioned when I had the chance before I started to bulk

Aren't traps separate from transpeople?

I thought "trap" means a cis (or maybe genderqueer/genderfluid) boy who could pass as an attractive girl

I think they're usually crossdressers

anyway, I think the idea of sexual orientation with respect to transpeople is a case-by-case basis. some het/homo people could be attracted to any transperson who identifies as the gender they like, some of them are attracted to the ones who pass well enough, some of them are only fine with post-op, some of them aren't okay with dating a transperson at all. some of them identify as het/homo at first but later find out they're bi/pan

I don't like the idea of fetishizing transwomen, but I'm pretty sure most of the guys who do aren't (exclusively) homosexual

This is why I only like men with vaginas

i'm pretty sure this is correct, yeah. the only problem is that a lot of people kind of ignore this and use "trap" as a larger umbrella term for "passing as a girl but with a penis" and ignoring said person's gender identity. which is why i don't like the term, it's just too often a mislabel and its origins as a term are pretty gross. so i try to avoid it.

Yeah I don't think the people who would consider it a trap would really care about the gender identity aspect n_u

If a person looks like a pretty girl but has a penis, they would be considered a trap generally.

I've always made this distinction as well.

i mean, i'm sure the researchers behind this are aware that actual human hermaphrodites are exceedingly rare lol

a "trap" is generally understood to be a male crossdresser who passes as female

so for a straight male to find a passable "trap" attractive would be no more "gay" than a straight male finding a passable transgirl attractive, unless you would argue that that is also "gay"

the study seems logically consistent to me

Wait so do pheromones not even matter if we're so simplistic as to be attracted to anyone that merely looks like our desired sex confuseddood;

P. sure it includes pre-op transwomen too because in a one night stand there's potentially the "surprise!" factor.
