i stubbed my toe on the frame of my bed the other day

that's always painful, but it's generally not bruise-inducing

but for some reason this particular stubbing completely disabled me for several minutes

i had never seen any part of my foot bruise that badly for any reason

But this time I drew blood.

time to ensure that it does not happen again
