I've long suspected that I have asperger's and I told my psychiatrist about it so she referred me to this other place where I can take some behavioral tests. Apparently it's covered under insurance.

just behavioral characteristics i've noticed about myself

I avoid minor changes in my life, and actively resist them. I've gotten so many new clothes for Christmas over the years that I've never once because wardrobe changes kind of fall under that. I wear a variation of the same thing every day.

I have a lot of trouble making conversation with people I don't know very well or at all. It's not that I'm too anxious to talk, it's that literally nothing enters my brain to talk about. I can't even fake it. So often people assume I'm anti-social and douchey on first impression because of that.

When not paying attention, I avoid looking people in the eye when talking to them. I've noticed that I'm able to focus much better when I look away from a person while talking to them.

Those are the major reasons that I know are often tied to Asperger's, and it's enough to make me wonder.

reading this now i wonder if i have asperger's lol

but i realize it's my overwhelming anxiety that makes me avoid new changes, and contact with people when i actually would like to change things up.  though i have been wearing dark clothes since like 2012 and barely anything new, but i prob just am picky as hell

anyway interesting reasons, hope it all goes well-

Thanks. It'll go well no matter the outcome, I'd just like to know, you know? Like, no matter what the diagnosis is, if there even is one, that doesn't actually change anything about me. It just puts a name to how I am, and helps me to better understand myself.

My friend just went through those tests. Some of them take hours to do.  What ever the results you seem pretty high functioning.    lol
