they're fine but I can't imagine playing one for longer than 30 minutes to an hour

yeah i don't mind schmups that much i just don't see the grand appeal. they all feel very same-ish to me (beyond vertical or horizontal) and i get frustrated by bullet hell shooters in particular very quickly


mostly i'm just bad at them
