eminem is totally socially unacceptable. its like he didnt even exist.

like i get the argument that he was always an edgelord but some of his stuff is really hard to listen to. or maybe im just too pc.
excuse me eminem is and will always be a top emcee
that's a racial thing, but i wont get into that

dude is without a doubt one of the best rappers ever regardless of what metric you might use to judge.

i'll let talib kweli speak for me. someone explained it better, i can't remember who it is. basically he's pretty good but white guys love him, like omg legend best in the game when he's not even the best mainstream rapper. i want to say bill burr did a thing on it but i somehow doubt it.

Travis

for reference my all time favorite rapper is Big L

Socks

it doesn't really have anything to do with race. i mean yeah it's a credit to him for being the most successful white rapper in a black industry but i don't have some sort of pride or whatever from it. and it's always tough to declare anyone the "best" because there is no agreeable standard to evaluate that and because there are a lot of good rappers, some well known some not, but he is one of the best. my all time favorite is still nas and biggie but em is really good, up until eminem show at least.

rdl

he's pretty good but he's not that good. he couldn't release the slim shady stuff now if he wanted to it'd be weird. also maybe he just hits a nerve with white folk, i listened to him growing up but he's too edgy for me

The best to me is what makes you feel. Something you can relate too.
One of my favorites.
