no they have the game. generally it's a 2+ device setup with one device streaming the game, one device streaming the host, which could be either a selfie view or a "first person" view of where they are in the real world. generally there's a secondary host who is at home on a computer actually stringing all this shit together and interacting with the chat/donations. so the 'field guy' will stream the pokemon go app and their camera to the 'home guy' who will put everything in like an open broadcaster wrapper along with their own image from the PC's webcam to create the complete stream package

it's utterly stupid and not very entertaining to watch tbh lol. here's an exact example of what i was referring to, i can't stand watching this dude's streams:
