i mean it was but considering there's thousands of people in the same situation as me these next two weeks, i figured buses are overpacked. plus this actually cuts time off my commute whereas working the bus into it would add 30 minutes as a minimum and anywhere up to an hour and a half at worst.

how long is your commute?

about an hour, both for biking and taking the train when it actually fucking works. biking is actually quicker but i gotta comb my hair n shit when i get to the office so that's like an extra 10 minutes

i mean people bike to the train station; also it's illegal to bring your bike on the train during designated rush hour periods due to crowding. but yeah i could have just biked to the nearest station taht got service, which would have been a much shorter ride, but at that point i'm already out here bikin, why give WMATA any of my cheddar

yeah this basically. they're shutting down sections of the track completely which means people that need to get to other sides of the shut down shit are SOL. there's shuttles between the broken down shit, but, no thanks that sounds terrible lol. i basically dont have the ability to take the train anywhere useful for the next week and a half.
