well there are world leaders who are more far right than trump could be. so speaking as a global citizen, i don't think he'll do much damage and could help in some indirect ways. It could fire up the 'ol fuck bush movement except it would have wider appeal.

The thing with Bern is that he seemed to have not gone to the same powwow Clinton did after the AIDS gaffe. I like her plan for handling HIV/AIDS. What Bern brought to the table was like generic antiretrovirals, which is a joke because a lot of them are simply intolerable and can affect patient adherence to the regimen. AZT is especially heinous. Sustiva is going generic soon and is linked to suicidality. Abacavir isn't that bad however; it's just that a certain percentage of the population is deathly allergic to it. Also, giving these extremely potent drugs to treatment naive patients could give them significant cross-resistance to newer drugs. also supporting AHF was the final nail in the bern coffin 4 me
