Tell me about your mustache

This is day 1 on my quest to make a big ass mustache. I will grow a big ass beard until my lip hair seems thick enough, then I'll shave and pray for a good mustach. please post about your mustache and tips on how to make a wonderful stache and why staches are very good things.
