texas was not a fun place to live in

oh also I talked to a counselor (school gives me one freee session yay!!) last week and he seemed to agree that i was not doin well and said i should try to get into a therapy group or find a doctor around that my insurance covers and i'd probably be a good candidate for meds
he didn't really help a ton with my actual problems or making me feel any better about them or anything, but he printed me a list of places i should contact that might be able to solve various things

doctors seem to be confused about depression and sickness behavior which appears all the same, while the latter is very different in etiology as it is a normal adaptive response to severe illness
so i recommend seeing a doctor for a checkup before you start antidepressants a psychiatrist might not do the proper workup
especially with the push for cost efficiency, doctors have been known to not do their due diligence and skip a few steps here and there
if you go to a psychiatrist, prepare to have every illness explained away as "depression" and "daddy issues"

oh oh and as for myself

i recently realized i have four classes to complete to actually be considered in the social work program.  not bad at all.  going to take two courses at a cc and the other two at the uni.

If everything goes on schedule, I'll graduate with my BSW in 2018, and get my MSW in 2019, and go through the test to get licensed and HELP THE YOUTH GO THROUGH THEIR EDGY TIMES and etc..

i also realized i can take the metra there so i don't necessarily gotta drive there if i don't want to lol

Honestly he's not exaggerating. Plano isn't that great. It's a part of Dallas that I won't spend much time in.

and man sux about your advisor man, even at my local cc if someone is emotional they will help you but jfc just one session free?

i think organizing time would help and forcing yourself.  make a list of stuff u gotta do for that day.  i mean it's basic advice but at the same time, you really gotta contemplate why you're there and the costs of your decisions. 

maybe u can listen to some brazilian bossa nova music- puts me in a different world and im more sound in my head listening to that stuff.

nah it's more diverse than the memes will have you believe. it's believed that the top 10 characters are competitively viable, and people have even had good placements with yoshi and gannon. but when you look at other competitive fighters 10 viable characters is actually pretty good.
