to be fair that game is a hot mess on consoles right now. it also isnt that well optimized for PC either lol but it at least works on most semi-powerful rigs

Thyme

oh yeah i wasn't criticizing ign for doing this, i was criticizing JC3 for being a hot mess

C.Mongler

nice  happydood;

i guess i just got TRIGGERED because when this was posted on reddit a bunch of fangays jumped in and were like WHAT THE FUCK IGN JC3 GETS ITS SCORE LOWERED BUT FALLOUT 4 GETS A PASS THIS IS BULLSHIT
it's like JC3s issues are so bad it actually makes the game less fun whereas FO4 is still fun regardless lol
Thyme

imo they should do it for FO4 too sillydood;

ign actually increased its splatoon score in an update

i feel like most reviews should cuz when splatoon first released it had barely any faetures.

i mean i didnt play it on consoles because i'm a not a poor person, but its fine on PC

granted i wasn't trying to run it on extra ultra, unlocked HD textures, at 4k resolution, 144 FPS, so yeah maybe it hiccups if you try to do that, but otherwise i felt the 'IT'S LITERALLY BROKEN' was entirely exaggerated lol

the sorry state of zenimax:

oh how the mmo genre has fallen

this game boldly launched with a subscription fee in a post-world of warcraft environment

now they're so desperate that they're literally paying their audience to play it

...Only? befuddlement

i wonder how high that percentage is when limited to video game projects

i thought 'ONLY??' too until i realized this wasnt limited to video games. i feel like there's a fuckton of simple projects, like recording an album for example, that clog this up with good stats. video games i feel like has to be in the 20% failure range AT LEAST

case in point:

http://gamingbolt.com/project-phoenix-delayed-to-early-2018-refunds-not-being-offered

you would have to be truly nuts to give to a """developer""" publicly begging for crowd-funded handouts

QuoteCurrent estimates place dev at about 2.5 years out from completion. This is 2.5 years from the time we get our full-time programmer on board. That means we are expecting early 2018 for a finalized build and 6 months for testing after that.

these idiots were freely given $1,000,000 by other idiots, and in the two years since, they've never even attempted to hire a programmer

lol
