You're entitled to question where you are in life and in things. And, hey, I don't know a lot about your situation or anything, but from a lot of things you post, it seems like you have a better grasp on things than most.

Second and third guessing everything is easy and shitty. It's like those times where you're just about to fall asleep and you remember that one time back in elementary school where you projectile puked your lunch all over the desk of the girl next to you, or some other embarrassing shit that makes your insides pucker.  And then that's all you can think about. And then it spirals out from there, because it's easy.  I think it's similar to that. Who knows.

sometimes when i think about everything that i should do and have not done and things i've missed and people i've let down and disappointed and i've been thinking of them and meaning to tell them everything and that i have been thinking of them but knowing that i cannot ever express this or tell them anything as their disdain for me only grows and with time it makes it harder to go back and tell them the story from the beginning and explain how everything has been one big misunderstanding and i notice that i am just a joke and becoming more and more of a stranger to myself and to my friends and family and in this way in the end, who am i? and i just vanish!

the feeling is similar to that of all of a sudden realizing and seeing that you are, indeed, wearing shitty diapers.
