regarding melee

i think mang0 won't take 1st place this time, westballz has been riding him 2much.  i think the "5 gods" are literally washed up and leffen has a good chance at taking evo 20xx. 

and then for sm4sh
prob zero will take it

it is honestly a toss up between mango armada leffen and ppmd. all of them besides ppmd have shown that they have the potential from this last year's tournaments and ppmd is just really fucking good and won apex and didnt really go to anything else lol

personally would be most stoked on mango or ppmd winning but mostly because i love seeing good falco and ppmd's marth is fucking amazing

also really wanna see pewpewu silent wolf and westballz do well. ppu is just a godlike player and same for westballz and sw. however sw is my hometown hero and i want to see him do well at a national (well, he got top 8 last evo after getting WRECKED by axe) since i've seen him destroy everyone in wa month after month

only washed up of the gods are m2k and hbox. both of which are still EASILY contenders for top 10, which in no way makes them washed up (at least not as "gods" since they are beatable by "lower tier" players)
gods are mango/ppmd/leffen/armada right now imo. westballz could break into it if he maintains how well he's been doing

also watch out for my friend 'Felix' in sm4sh. he's consistently been 2nd in WA at every large tournament and i wouldn't be surprised if he gets top 32 at LEAST
