skyrim was just 6gb, so i'm not too surprised lol

bethesda games, despite high world size and and content quantity, tend to have perplexingly small install sizes

or you could do the smart and much cheaper thing and play fallout 3 first and see if you like fallout to begin with

your pc can handle it i'm sure

most PCs can handle Fallout 3 or NV. My old Macbook can run both at fairly high settings.
