[spoiler]defiled amygdala did not have any mercy to spare. would honestly not be that hard were it not for two moves that are near-guaranteed to one-shot pretty much anyone. took me many tries, but i knew i'd get it just fine eventually because i almost always got him down to very low health[/spoiler]

hnnnng i wanna start this game but im palying so much shit right now i know i wont finish this game if i try to put in my rotation so i should just wait until i beat/get tired of something else but it looks so cook hngggg

it did help me a lot that i figured out a good strategy for getting a visceral in at just the right time. and that the ludwig's holy blade transformed l2 swings in a high arc that will reliably hit his head. and that bone marrow ash with an evelyn+10 can also do reliably good damage to his head

basically i'd try to not hit his head at all in the first phase, then start hitting his head a lot in the second phase, making it so my visceral opportunity will be right about the time he would have ripped his arms off for the third phase, also getting an extra hit in after he gets back up from the visceral, making it so he'd only have a little bit of health left for the hardest part

it's a fantastic game and a worthy entry in the souls series, with a playstyle that's more fun than the rest of them
